Nurse Practitioner Job Description
EWIMA Healthcare is growing and seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care within our internal medicine practice.
In this role you will care for our patients at skilled/extended care/rehab facilities at multiple locations within the north side of Chicago and the Northern Suburbs of Chicago.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Illinois APN license
- Ability to travel to 1 or more facilities each day
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields, a plus

EWIMA OFFERS:
- Compensation based on experience
- Anticipated range: $100,000-$130,000 per year
- Health/Dental Insurance; ERA (State sponsored); PTO; Paid CME; Paid License Renewal
- Stipend for gas/mileage/cell phone
- 3 months on the job training
- Flexible schedule, 5 days a week
